Supabase
Supabase is an open-source backend platform that gives a product a Postgres database with user logins, file storage, live updates and server functions built in.
What it means in practice
Supabase lets a small team launch a production backend in days, and because the database is standard Postgres, the data can move to any other Postgres host later. The Pro plan starts at US$25 a month, and projects can be created in Sydney.
Marshall Tech builds most new products on Supabase, including the internal CRM and support product we run for our clients.
Where this shows up in our work
We apply Supabase across these services when we build for Australian businesses.
